Welcome Harold Kasimow

Welcome Harold Kasimow

"…in the hope that our Earth would never again be so soaked with blood,” author Harold Kasimow has dedicated his life to spreading hope and goodwill through Interreligious Dialogue. As a four-year-old, Kasimow, with his family, experienced and survived, the most horrific episode of our lifetime, the Holocaust, by hiding in a ‘grave’ under a cowshed for nineteen months and five days. In his new coming soon book from iPub, Love Together or Perish Together: A Holocaust Survivor’s Reflections of Interfaith Relations,” Kasimow leads it off with a heart-wrenching personal essay, followed by his tributes to others, including his mentor, Abraham Joshua Heschel. Through the hearts of Heschel and Kasimow, we are able to explore and expand our knowledge of the power of interfaith dialogue and of those who have made it their life’s work. Harold has written and published books on Pope John Paul II, Pope Francis, and Abraham Joshua Heschel and his books have been published internationally. He is also the George A. Drake Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Grinnell College.
